Accessibility

All public sector bodies’ websites must be accessible. This means that their online services must be easily accessible to all users, especially those with disabilities.

Web accessibility is governed by the Finnish Act on the Provision of Digital Services and the EU Web Accessibility Directive. The requirements laid down in the Act and the Directive also apply to Kela’s online services and any content published on them as of 23 September 2020.

On 23 September 2020, at the latest, we will publish an accessibility statement on this website describing the accessibility of our services in more detail. We will also let you know how to give feedback regarding the accessibility of our website and how to make a request for accessibility, should you feel that some parts of our online services do not fully comply with the accessibility requirements.

Our online services will be accessible to all by 23 September 2020

We are currently developing our online services in order to serve our customers even more effectively, regardless of any impairments they may have.

The accessibility of the Kela.fi website is quite good at present, but our online services still require further development.

In accessibility matters, we cooperate with organisations such as Annanpura and Kehitysvammaliitto. Our goal is to make our online services accessible within the specified time frame.

Feedback regarding our online services can already be given at https://www.kela.fi/web/en/send-us-feedback.
