Version 1.3 of the principles and functional specification of the Information Management Service has been released

The new version 1.3 of the principles and functional specification of the Information Management Service shall replace version 1.2, which was released at the end of 2021. The new functional specifications include additions and amendments to the following topics, among others:

• Separate content has been defined for laboratory and imaging studies in accordance with specification sets 2018.10.* and 2023.1
• Changes to the aggregate data reset, supported by aggregate data from multiple specification sets
• Amendments to the Client Data Act (784/2021) and the health and social services reform have been taken into account, including the ending of the joint register and Uusimaa’s temporary right of access to information

All corrections and supplements are mentioned at the beginning of each chapter and are highlighted in the track changes version of the document. The release is also available as an online publication in the Yhteistyötilat shared workspace.

The technical specifications required for implementing the changes have also been published on kanta.fi.
