Upcoming change to the processing of comprehensive denial of consent to data sharing in the Patient Data Repository

Notice - Developers Written on 10.3.2022 All notices

The Patient Data Repository is looking into the possibility of discontinuing the comprehensive denial of consent to data sharing (LKIE) as a separate form. In the future, information on comprehensive denial of consent to data sharing could be included in the non-disclosure form that is under development.

We recommend that the development tasks regarding the implementation of the comprehensive denial of consent to data sharing be suspended until further notice. Any tests related to comprehensive denial of consent will be removed from the test cases of the joint testing of data sharing management related to the amended version of the Client Data Act.

The joint testing of the comprehensive denial of consent to data sharing will be carried out as part of the denial of consent package that will be introduced on 1 January 2024.
The comprehensive denial of consent to data sharing will be deployed to production by 1 January 2024. At the same time, there will also be other changes to the denial of consent form of the Patient Data Repository, for example the possibility to refuse the sharing of data from a private occupational healthcare register.

Kanta Services are investigating whether it would be necessary to combine all these changes into one updated denial of consent to data sharing form in the future.

We will give more information on the matter during the next system supplier co-operation meeting in April.
