The Kanta Services will provide a browser-based validation service for HL7 CDA R2 documents for practising the use of the service. The purpose of using the validation service is to act as a tool in the verification of the data structures of documents. The service is available to all and it is free of charge. It is recommended that the service is used when necessary before or during testing and, for example, after code set changes.
The service includes the validation rules for HL7 CDA R2 documents produced by the patient data systems with respect to the Patient Data Repository and the Prescription service.
