Interruptions in the services in October 2025

Planned update and maintenance tasks that may result in interruptions to the use of the services during the month are published here. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

1 October: Short interruptions in the Kanta Services possible

Time: 1 October 2025 between 8.30pm and 1am

Kanta-service is undergoing technical maintenance work, due to which there may be interruptions in the use of the services.
 
Please try to access the service again in a while.

19 October: Short interruptions in the Kanta Services possible

Time: 19 October 2025 between 6pm and midnight

Due to maintenance work in the Valtori VY network, there may be short interruptions in Kanta services.

Short interruptions may affect the following:

  • the issuing of prescriptions in the patient data system if the person issuing the prescription is subject to restrictions with regard to their professional practice rights
  • Kelain service
  • the transfer of electronic prescriptions and patient summaries between EU countries
  • Valvira’s role and attribute service.

In the event of a service interruption, please try to access the service again later.

20 October: Short interruptions in the Kanta Services possible

30 October: Scheduled maintenance of the Client Data Repository for Social Welfare Services

Time: 30 October 2025 between 6am and 7am

A scheduled maintenance of the Client Data Repository for Social Welfare Services will cause downtime in the following services:

  • Client Data Repository for Social Welfare Services
  • Archivist’s User Interface (only affects the Client Data Repository for Social Welfare Services)
  • MyKanta (only affects the visibility of information from the Client Data Repository for Social Welfare Services)

If you are unable to access a service, please retry after a few minutes.
