Interruptions in the services in October 2026

Planned update and maintenance tasks that may result in interruptions to the use of the services during the month are published here. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

12 October: Short interruptions in the Kanta Services possible

Time: 12 October 2026 from 8:30 pm to 13 October 3 am

Kanta-service is undergoing technical maintenance work, due to which there may be interruptions in the use of the services.

Please try to access the service again in a while.

13th October: Interruption in the Kanta Services

Time: 13 October 2026, 9am – 4pm

Due to maintenance work carried out in the data system of European Commission, there will be an interruption in the following Kanta service between different EU countries:

  • Delivery of e-prescriptions
  • Delivery of patient summary

We apologize for the inconvenience caused.

Please try to access the service again after the interruption, if necessary.

13 October: Short interruptions in the Kanta Services possible

Kanta-service is undergoing technical maintenance work, due to which there may be interruptions in the use of the services.

27 October: Service break in Kanta Services

Time: 27 October 2026 between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM

Maintenance work will be carried out in the Kanta Services, affecting the use of the following services:

  • Kanta Ekstranet
  • Kelain.

Kanta Ekstranet will not be available during the service interruption.
For Kelain, it will not be possible to register a new user or modify the customer information of a previously registered user.
