Interruptions in the services in June 2026

Planned update and maintenance tasks that may result in interruptions to the use of the services during the month are published here. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.


4 June: Interruption in the Kanta Services

Time: 4 June 2026 between 6am and 8am

Kanta Service is undergoing technical maintenance, as a result of which there will be an interruption in the following services:

  • MyKanta e-service: logging in to the service
  • MyKanta application: strong authentication
    • If your strong authentication has not expired, you can log in to the application with your PIN code, fingerprint or face recognition.
    • You may not get notifications from the application during the maintenance break.
  • Kanta Exstranet
  • Archivist's interface
  • Testain service

We apologise for the inconvenience caused.

Please try to access the service again after the interruption, if necessary.


16 June: Service break in Kanta Services

Time: 19 May between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM

Maintenance work will be carried out in the Kanta Services, affecting the use of the following services:

  • Kanta Ekstranet
  • Kelain.

Kanta Ekstranet will not be available during the service interruption.

For Kelain, it will not be possible to register a new user or modify the customer information of a previously registered user.

17 June: Interruption in the Kanta Services

Time: on 17 June 2026 between 10:00 PM – midnight.

Due to maintenance work carried out in Estonia, there will be interruptions in the following Kanta service:

  • Delivery of e-prescriptions between Estonia and Finland
  • Delivery of patient summary to Estonia
