The “CDA R2 Structure of Referrals and Epicrises” documents are divided into different branches of specification and these branches are not fully forward and backward compatible:
- In the 2023 branch, the clarifications and changes to the generation of the data of the person who made the entry have been taken into account.
- The 2016 branch corresponds to the archived data content of referrals and epicrises, based on the old core documentation and quickXML specifications.
