It is possible to use Kanta to transfer
- medical certificates and statements to Kela for granting benefits
- information on fitness to drive to the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency (Traficom) for the renewal of a driver’s licence.
Certificates are not automatically forwarded, and you must agree on this with your doctor, for example.
Please note, however, that not all health care units are yet able to forward certificates.
You can view certificates in MyKanta
You can see certificates and statements issued by your doctor in MyKanta. If the certificate has been forwarded to the authorities, this will be shown in the certificate information. Read more about medical certificates in MyKanta.
