How to give consent and set up denials of consent
Log in to MyKanta at kanta.fi. You can identify yourself using your online banking credentials or a mobile certificate, for instance.
Select the 'Tietojen käytön hallinta' section (Management of Data Use) .
In this section, you can see when you have last received Kanta information, i.e., a notification about the use of your data in social welfare and healthcare services, and what consents and denials of consent you have in place.
Give the consents or set up the denials of consent according to your preferences. You can also update your valid consent to data sharing.
Some of the denials of consent can only be set up in the new version of MyKanta. Follow the instructions displayed in MyKanta.
Consent and denials of consent affect how social welfare and health care professionals can use the information stored about you in your care.
