Maintenance work carried out in Kanta services on 14 August – interruptions affecting several services

We are carrying out updates to improve the performance of Kanta services on Friday 14 August 2026 from 19:00. The maintenance measures may result in temporary service interruptions or other disruptions in services, including Kelain, MyKanta and Imaging Data Repository. The services should be back to normal by 01:00 o’clock on 15 August 2026 at the latest. 

The maintenance measures may affect the following services: 

  • MyKanta 
  • Kanta.fi 
  • Kelain 
  • Imaging Data Repository 
  • Kanta Extranet 
  • Wellbeing application interfaces to client and patient data 
  • Kanta Personal Health Record 
  • Client Data Repository for Social Welfare Services - Sharing of data and management of data sharing 
  • Cross-border prescriptions 

We ask service users to prepare for service interruptions and disruptions during the maintenance work. If necessary, try using the service again after the interruption.
