You can now record your measurement results in MyKanta

The MyKanta online service is being developed, and now everyone can record their measurement results directly in MyKanta. The first data that you can record are your weight, heart rate, blood pressure and blood sugar.

You can record your measurement results by logging in to MyKanta at kanta.fi. You can currently record your weight, blood pressure, heart rate and blood sugar data in the service. The aim of storing personal wellbeing data is to increase citizens’ interest in promoting their own health and wellbeing.

At the moment, the wellbeing data stored in MyKanta is only visible to the citizens themselves. In the future, however, you will also be able to share your data with social welfare and health care professionals, if you wish.

MyKanta in brief

MyKanta is a nationwide online service for citizens and part of Kela’s comprehensive Kanta Services. In MyKanta, everyone can view their own health information, such as patient data, prescriptions, and laboratory results recorded by health care providers.

In MyKanta, you can also request a prescription renewal and save your living will and organ donation testament. From 2023 onwards, social welfare services data will also gradually be displayed in MyKanta.

Nearly all Finns are familiar with MyKanta: in 2023, there were more than 35 million log-ins to the service, and 3 million people used the service. The service has approximately a million monthly users.

Log in to MyKanta at kanta.fi. To log in, you will need your online banking credentials or a mobile certificate.
