Interruptions in the services in February 2022

Planned update and maintenance tasks that may result in interruptions to the use of the services during the month are published here. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

1 February: Potential interruptions in the Kanta Services

Time: 1 February 2022 at 6.30am–8.30am

Maintenance work is carried out in the Kanta Services, which may result in brief interruptions in the following services:

  • Kanta Ekstranet
  • Kanta.fi

During the interruptions, the traffic of Kanta.fi and Kanta Ekstranet will be redirected to a temporary page. 

During the breaks, My Kanta Pages can be accessed via the following direct link: https://kansalainen.kanta.fi/?lg=fi 

In addition, the interruption will have no impact on the use of Kelain. Kelain can be accessed via the following direct link: http://www.kelain.fi/

6 February: Interruption in the Kanta Services

Time: Sunday 6 February 2022 between 2.30am and 4am

Kanta Service is undergoing technical maintenance, as a result of which there will be an interruption in the following services: 

  • Kelain
  • Printing of the EU Digital COVID Certificate from the patient data system or from the national printing and recording service.

8 February: Short interruption in the use of Kanta Services possible

Time: 8 February 2022 between 6.30am and 7.15am

8 February: Possible interruptions in the use of the Kanta
Services

Time: 8 February 2022 at 8am–10am

Due to maintenance measures carried out in the Suomi.fi web service, there may be
interruptions in the following services:

  • Acting on behalf of another person
  • My Kanta Pages: logging in to the service
  • Kanta PHR
  • Kanta Ekstranet

16 February: Short interruption in the use of Kanta Services possible

Time: 16 February 2022 between 6am and 7am

Kanta Service is undergoing technical maintenance work, due to which there may be short interruptions in the use of the services: 

  • Client data archive for social welfare services
  • Archivist’s User Interface

19 February: Short interruption in the use of Kanta Services possible

Time: 19 February 2022 between 7am and 11am

Kanta Service is undergoing technical maintenance work, due to which there may be short interruptions in the use of the services:

  • Kelain Service
  • Printing of the EU Digital COVID Certificate from the patient data system or from the national printing and recording service.

19 February: Interruption in the transmission of medical certificates and statements to Kela

Time: 19 February 2022 between 7am and 11am

Due to scheduled system deployment at Kela, there will be interruptions in the transmission of electronic medical certificates and statements to Kela between 7am and 11am.

During the interruption, medical certificates and statements cannot be transmitted from healthcare providers to Kela. Doctors should instead follow the standard instructions and print out any medical certificate they issue on paper, sign it manually, and hand it over to the patient.

27 February: Interruption in the Kanta Services

Time: Sunday 27 February 2022 between 0.30am and 5.30am

Kanta Service is undergoing technical maintenance, as a result of which there will be an interruption in the following services:

  • Kelain Service
  • Printing of the EU Digital COVID Certificate from the patient data system or from the national printing and recording service.

Time: 27 February 2022 between 0.30am and 5.30am
