Interruptions in the services in September

Planned update and maintenance tasks that may result in interruptions to the use of the services during the month are published here. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

5 September: Short interruption in the use of Kanta Services possible

Time: 5 September 2021 between 2.30am and 6am

Kanta Service is undergoing technical maintenance work, due to which there may be short interruptions in the use of the services: 

  • Kelain
  • Printing of the EU Digital COVID Certificate from the patient data system or from the national printing and recording service. 

Please try to access the service again in a while.

6 October: Possible interruptions in the use of the Kanta Services

Time: 6 October 2021 at 11pm–1am

Due to maintenance measures carried out in  the Suomi.fi web service, there may be interruptions in the following services: 

  • Acting on behalf of another person
  • My Kanta Pages: logging in to the service
  • Kanta PHR
  • Kanta Ekstranet

Please try to access the service again in a little while, if necessary.

7 September: Short interruptions in the use of Kanta Services possible

Time: 7 September 2021 between 8am and 10am

Kanta Service is undergoing technical maintenance work, due to which there may be short interruptions in the use of service: 

  • Archivist’s User Interface

7 September: Possible interruptions in the use of the Kanta Services

Time: 7 September 2021 at 11pm–6am

Due to maintenance measures carried out in  the Suomi.fi web service, there may be interruptions in the following services: 

  • Acting on behalf of another person
  • My Kanta Pages: logging in to the service
  • Kanta PHR
  • Kanta Ekstranet

14 September: Short interruptions in the Kanta Services possible

Time: 14 September 2021 between 11pm and 2am

The Kanta Services is undergoing technical maintenance work on an accelerated schedule, due to which there may be interruptions in the use of the services. Please try to access the service again in a while.

19 September: Interruptions in the use of Kanta Services 

Time: between 5am and 1pm on 19 September 2021

Due to a maintenance break at the OP Identity Service Broker, the Aktia, Handelsbanken, Oma Säästöpankki, POP Pankki and Säästöpankki codes cannot be used for logging in to My Kanta Pages or Kanta Ekstranet. 

The authorization of Kanta PHR is also not used during the maintenance break.

23 September: Access to Kanta Services interrupted due to maintenance

Time: 23 September 2021 between 10pm and 6am

Due to maintenance of the OP Identity Service Broker, users cannot use their Mobile ID to log in to the My Kanta Pages or to Kanta Extranet.

It will also not be possible to assign permissions to access Kanta PHR.

We are sorry for any inconvenience caused. 

25 September: Interruption in the transmission of medical certificates and statements to Kela

Time: 25 September 2021 between 5am and 8pm

Due to scheduled system deployment at Kela, there will be interruptions in the transmission of electronic medical certificates and statements to Kela between 5am and 8pm.

During the interruption, medical certificates and statements cannot be transmitted from healthcare providers to Kela. Doctors should instead follow the standard instructions and print out any medical certificate they issue on paper, sign it manually, and hand it over to the patient.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

26 September: Access to Kanta Services interrupted due to maintenance

Time: 26 September between 12 midnight and 11am

Due to maintenance of OP’s online services, OP online banking codes cannot be used to log in to the My Kanta Pages or to Kanta Extranet.

It will also not be possible to assign permissions to access Kanta PHR.

28 September: Interruptions in the use of Kanta Services

Time: 28 September 2021 between 11pm and 6am

Due to a maintenance break at the OP Identity Service Broker, the S-Bank codes cannot be used for logging in to My Kanta Pages or Kanta Ekstranet. 

The authorization of Kanta PHR is also not used during the maintenance break.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

29 September: Archive of Imaging Data temporarily unavailable on 29th September 2021

System upgrades will be taking place in the Archive of Imaging Data between 18:00 and midnight on 29th September 2021. This will cause an interruption in retrieval functionality for diagnostic tests in the Archive of Imaging Data.

Kanta Service is undergoing technical maintenance work, due to which there may be short interruptions in the use of the services:

  • Client data archive for social welfare services
