Interruptions in the services in September 2022
Planned update and maintenance tasks that may result in interruptions to the use of the services during the month are published here. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
1 September: Short interruptions in the use of Kanta Services possible
Time: 1 September 2022 between 6am and 7am
Kanta Service is undergoing technical maintenance work, due to which there may be short interruptions in the use of the services:
- Kelain
- Printing of the EU Digital COVID Certificate from the patient data system or from the national printing and recording service.

23 September: Interruption in the use of Kanta Services possible
Time: 23 September 2022 between 4.15pm and 9pm
Due to maintenance work carried out in the Valvira's service, there may be an interruption in the following Kanta services:
- Kelain service
- Valvira role and attribute service
The interruption to the service may have an impact on issuing prescriptions in the patient data system if the person issuing the prescription is subject to restrictions with regard to their professional practice rights.

23–25 September 2022: Kanta Services may be unavailable for maintenance

Due to maintenance at Nordea online services, users may not be able to use their Nordea access codes to log in to OmaKanta or the Kanta Extranet.
It will also not be possible to assign permissions to access Kanta PHR.

27 September: Short interruptions in the Kanta Services possible
Time: 27 September 2022 between 11pm and 4am
Kanta-service is undergoing technical maintenance work, due to which there may be interruptions in the use of the services.

27 September – 3 October: Interruption in the Kanta Services
Time: between 27 September and 3 October 2022
Due to maintenance work carried out in Portugal, there will be interruption in the following Kanta service:
- Delivery of e-prescriptions between Portugal and Finland

28 September: Interruptions in the use of Kanta Services
Time: 28 September 2022 at 6am–6.15am
Due to maintenance measures carried out in the Suomi.fi web service, there may be interruptions in the following services:
- Acting on behalf of another person
- My Kanta Pages: logging in to the service
- Kanta PHR
- Kanta Ekstranet
