Interruptions in the services in November

Planned update and maintenance tasks that may result in interruptions to the use of the services during the month are published here. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Short interruptions possible on 19 October between 11pm and 04am

Kanta-service is undergoing technical maintenance work, which may have an impact on the use of services.

The maintenance work will be carried out on 19 October between 11pm and 04am, during which time there may be short interruptions. Please try to access the service again in a while. 

Extensive interruption in the Kanta Services on 14 November 2020 between 10pm and 12 midnight 

We are carrying out maintenance work in the Patient Data Repository, as a result of which there will be an interruption in the following services:

  • Patient Data Repository
  • Patient Data Management Service
  • Archive of Imaging Data
  • Delivery of Medical Certificates
  • Delivery of e-prescriptions between different EU countries
  • My Kanta Pages: health data, consents, refusals, and declarations of intent will not be available

We call on social and health care organisations to prepare for the interruption.

Please try to access the service again after the interruption, if necessary.

Maintenance work carried out on 7 and 8 November

Kanta Service is undergoing technical maintenance work, due to which there may be interruptions in the use of My Kanta pages, My Kanta Personal Health Record (Kanta PHR), Kelain service and delivery of medical certificates to Kela.

The maintenance work begins on Nov 7 at 4pm and ends on Nov 8 at 7am.
