Email addresses intended for Kanta organisational clients will be merged
The electronic mailboxes intended for organisational clients, kantakehitys@kanta.fi and kanta@kanta.fi, will be merged on 1 January 2024, with the address kanta@kanta.fi remaining in use. The address for joint testing clients, yhteistestaus@kanta.fi, will remain valid.
Kanta has used three electronic mailboxes for organisations. Of these, kantakehitys@kanta.fi and kanta@kanta.fi shall be merged at the beginning of 2024. The mailbox remaining in use is kanta@kanta.fi.
The mailbox used by joint testing clients yhteistestaus@kanta.fi shall remain as a separate mailbox.
The merging of electronic mailboxes does not require any action from clients, as any messages sent with the ‘kantakehitys’ address will be automatically directed to the kanta@kanta.fi mailbox after the merge. However, it is a good idea for users to update the address for the merged mailbox, kanta@kanta.fi, in their contact information.
Merging mailboxes improves our customer service, as the client will no longer need to worry about which address is best for their issue, and contact will be handled through a single email address. Merging mailboxes also reduces the chances of the same messages being directed to multiple addresses.
