The use of the National Code Service from outside of Finland will be restricted
As of 15 January 2024, the current interfaces of the National Code Service will only be available in Finland, including the Åland Islands.
The National Code service can be used outside of Finland via a separate service. The service is available at nationalcodeservice.kanta.fi. As of 15 January 2024, the National Code Service will only be available to use from abroad via this address. The restriction is based on stricter information security policies.
