Planned update and maintenance tasks that may result in interruptions to the use of the services during the month are published here. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

5 January: Short interruptions in the Kanta Services possible

Time: 5 January 2021 between 5pm and 11pm

Kanta-service is undergoing urgent maintenance work, due to which there may be interruptions in the use of the services. Please try to access the service again in a while.

14 January: Short interruptions in the Kanta Services possible

Time: 14 Jan between 6am and 8am

Kela is carrying out maintenance work, as a result of which there may be short interruptions in the following services:

Acting on behalf of a minor
Kelain Service
Delivery of Medical Certificates

14 January: Interruption in the Client data archive for social welfare services on 14 January

Updates to Client data archive for social welfare services are carried out on 14 January 2021 between 6am and 7am.

The update might cause interruption to Client data archive for social welfare services and UI for archivist.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

16 January: Extensive interruption in the use of Kanta Services

Time: 16 January 2021 between 10pm to 12 midnight

We are carrying out maintenance work in the Prescription service, as a result of which the following services will be temporarily unavailable:

Prescription Centre
Delivery of electronic prescriptions between different EU countries – Finnish prescriptions cannot be dispensed abroad during the service interruption
Kelain
My Kanta Pages – prescription information is not available and prescriptions cannot be renewed during the service interruption

We request the social welfare and healthcare organisations and pharmacies to prepare for the service interruption.

16 January: Short interruptions in the Kanta Services possible

Time: 16 Jan 2021 between 9 and 2pm

Due to maintenance work carried out in the Valtori VY network, there may be short interruptions in the following services:

Kelain service
Delivery of electronic prescriptions between different EU countries

The interruptions to the service may have an impact on issuing prescriptions in the patient data system if the person issuing the prescription is subject to restrictions with regard to their professional practice rights.

In the event of a service interruption, please try to access the service again in a moment.

16 and 17 January: Interruption in the Kanta Services

Time: between 16 Jan 10pm and 17 Jan 6am

The Kanta Services are undergoing technical maintenance, as a result of which there will be an interruption in the following services:

Delivery of Medical Certificates

19 January: Potential interruptions in the Kanta Services

Time: 19 January 2021 at 6am–7am

Maintenance work is carried out in the Kanta Services, which may result in brief interruptions in the following services:

Kanta Ekstranet
Kanta.fi

During the interruptions, the traffic of Kanta.fi and Kanta Ekstranet will be redirected to a temporary page.
