The Client Data Archive for Social Welfare Services is a service in which client data generated by social welfare services is stored. Further information about the service:
Deployable functionalities of the archive
The client data archive for social welfare services can be deployed in phases according to the definitions of phase 1 and phase 2. It is also possible to start the process by archiving old client data. The more extensive the functionalities and data content included in the deployment are, the more the service will benefit the organisation.
The client data archive can be deployed with phase 1 functionalities until the end of 2022. After that, it will only be possible to join the Client Data Archive for Social Welfare Services with information systems that support the archive’s more recent functionalities. There is no time limit for archiving old client data. Archiving the old client data in the data archive can continue until further notice.
The deployment process is undertaken by social welfare service providers who are joining the Client Data Archive for Social Welfare Services for the first time. The deployment process is lighter if it concerns an extension of the use of the client data archive.
The deployment process for the Client Data Archive for Social Welfare Services takes about 6 months. The duration and extent of the process depend on the service providers initial situation and how the service provider intends to use the client data archive.
Another key factor affecting the duration of the process is whether the service will be deployed with a previously certified information system or whether the system will be certified as part of the deployment process. In the latter case, preparations for deployment will take considerably longer, approximately one year.
More detailed instructions on the deployment of the client data archive for social welfare services are available in Finnish and Swedish as the service is only available in these languages.
