Registering for joint testing

The functionalities included in the requirements of Kanta interoperability and the intended purpose of the information system must be implemented and tested in the provider’s own independent testing in such a way that joint testing is carried out in the most complete information system possible.

Before registering for joint testing, please review the joint testing process as well as the parties and responsibilities.

In addition to joint testing according to the publication schedule, Kela also organises joint testing that aims to certify systems that have not yet taken part in joint testing for the first time. For more information, please see: Certification of a new system.

To register for joint testing, use Testain

To register for Kanta joint testing, please use the registration form in the Testain service. The registration form is used to select the Kanta service and the test content to be joint tested. You can register for the joint testing of several different sets of test content at the same time.
Log in to the Testain service using suomi.fi credentials. You can find more detailed information on the user authorisations and login to the Testain service at: Testain.

Attach a system form to the registration form that corresponds to the system version being joint tested. If necessary, the Kanta joint testing may also request a Kanta joining architecture description.

Log in to Testain(opens new window)

After registration

The joint testing expert will process the registration form and its attachments as soon as possible and contact the system provider. If necessary, an initial meeting will be organised to discuss, among other things, refinements to the test content being joint tested, the target schedule for completing the joint testing and guidance on how to use Testain.

On the basis of the registration, the system provider will be able to access the test cases in Testain. Testain also includes test content that does not involve a preliminary test phase.

In the transition phase, not all test cases have been transferred to Testain when registering for joint testing. In such a case, the joint testing expert will instruct the system provider on how to report the preliminary tests performed for the joint testing. For a while, Testain will be used in parallel with the workspaces on the Kumppanit website.
