We have reformed the way in which the Kanta Services development roadmap is produced. From now on, the roadmap is developed in regular collaboration with wellbeing services counties and system suppliers. In this way, we can ensure the cost benefits of development and schedules suitable for all parties.

With this service, the client data created by social services can be stored securely for easy access. The functionalities of the client data repository make it easier to integrate and process any data generated in outsourced services, for example.

Kanta medication list

The medication list improves the safety of pharmacotherapy: the list provides up-to-date information about the medicines the patient is taking. The first-phase features of the medication list can now be implemented in all health and social services organisations and pharmacies.

Healthcare appointments

In the future, healthcare appointments will be saved in the Kanta Services. This will give social welfare and healthcare professionals a better view of the client’s situation and avoid any overlapping appointments.

Authorisation of outsourcing service providers

The authorisation of outsourcing service providers makes it easier to process patient data in the context of outsourced services, allowing data to be transferred quickly and in a secure manner between the service organisers and the service providers.

In Kanta online schools, professionals in social welfare and healthcare services and pharmacies learn about the Kanta Services and new functionalities. The language of the online schools is Finnish and Swedish.

New in the MyKanta application

The MyKanta application now notifies you of completed examination results, new laboratory referrals and entries by physicians and nurses. The MyKanta application can be downloaded free of charge from your app store.
