For this purpose, a new interface that patient data systems can use for retrieving COVID-19 vaccination certificates from the Patient Data Repository has been implemented in the Patient Data Repository.

All the required data can be provided in the CDA R2 structure of the vaccination but, when entering the COVID-19 vaccination, the mandatory requirements are stricter than those described in the 2016 data content specification or the CDA R2 specification for vaccination data.
