MyKanta is a nationwide online service where you can view your health data 24/7. Gradually, MyKanta will also show your social welfare services client data. Always log in to MyKanta at kanta.fi.
MyKanta will display the information recorded about you in Kanta when you attend health care or social welfare services, or visit a pharmacy. You can view your public and private social welfare and health care data alike.
You can manage another person’s affairs on their behalf in MyKanta, when attending health care appointments, and when visiting a pharmacy. You can also authorise another person to manage your affairs on your behalf.
All prescriptions are issued electronically. You can view your own prescription data in MyKanta. You can collect your medication from any pharmacy in Finland.
When you interact with health care or social welfare services, data is saved in the Kanta Services by a doctor, nurse, social worker, or other professional. Pharmacies also record information in Kanta. You can browse this data yourself in MyKanta.
